How many guests fit in each marquee size?

Allow about 0.6 square metres per standing guest, 0.9 per guest in seated rows and 1.5 per guest at dining tables. The calculator above uses those numbers, and so does every product page, so the size it suggests matches the listing.

What size marquee do I need for 50 guests?

For 50 standing guests, the 8x4m (32m²) or the 6x6m (36m²). For 50 people at dining tables you need about 75 square metres: the 12x7m (84m², up to 56 dining) fits them, while the 12x6m (72m²) takes up to 48.

Should I size up?

Add about 25 percent more space for a dance floor, bar or buffet. If you are between two sizes, go up one: a roomy marquee still works, a tight one does not. Every size is sold to own, with free delivery to most of Australia, dispatched in about 2 business days (the 6x6m, 8x4m, 12x6m and 12x7m are pre-orders, shipping end of November 2026).
